Let me get something straight right now… At this time I am not a vegetarian, let alone a vegan… but I desperately want to be! (Many years ago, I was an ovo-lacto vegetarian, twice, for a year or less each time.) This is, I believe, my greatest inconsistency… And I feel ashamed every time I eat meat, or eggs, or butter…

Then there are all my excuses… I’m too busy to research how to become a vegetarian (or better yet, a vegan) in a safe and healthy manner… I don’t have time to cook (too often eating fast/junk food)… It’s too expensive (subsidized meat, dairy and eggs are cheaper than fresh organic vegetables)…

So… why not have a restaurant right here at WolfStone Ranch that specializes in these compassionate, healthy meals? Yeah, why not have a chef on the premises who knows how to create delicious, balanced meals that meet all of my daily nutritional requirements?!

Which got me to thinking… I can’t be the only one out there who feels this way… ???

Furthermore, I believe this is the only food that is appropriate to offer at a spiritual retreat for pets (and their people)!

"I do feel that spiritual progress does demand, at some stage, that we should
cease to kill our fellow creatures for the satisfaction of our bodily wants."
